Anonymous asked: a good online shop for monogrammed stuff?
You can peruse Etsy, I however have a cheap monogram place in Georgetown. Here’s the thing, anyone who does patches, or school uniform polos, or maybe company stuff on a local shop level will be able to hook it up. It’s typically wicked cheap, but yeah Etsy is the tits when it comes to custom monograms.
Anonymous asked: What are you thoughts on DU and CU Boulder?
All great institutions, but because of recent laws passed I’m unsure if the schools will continue to operate at such high standards. I unfortunately have seen a lot of friends and classmates go out and never come back. Taking advantage of fresh pow and freshmen girls instead of educational opportunities.
preppinitup asked: Govs is actually #1 in lacrosse in the ISL and we used to also be #1 in girls and boys hockey but we lost a lot of kids to the Olympics, juniors, and D1 and D3 colleges. I guess you can tell I go there but I might transfer to taft... On a another note I totally lold at what you said about people asking you if you can be black and preppy pure genius I get the same questions about that and being a republican...your blog is great :)
A little bit about the Govs from an awesome follower in case there’s anyone out there wondering about the school.
Ask me about schools there’s a chance I might know a thing or two.
Anonymous asked: What do you think about Stone Ridge?
Stone Ridge is where some pretty, yet razor tongue girls attend. With nowhere near the lesbian population of Madeira these girls still manage to push, bully, and backstab. The school itself is gorgeous, smack dab between Bethesda and Congressional Country Club you could not ask for a better location. With run of the mill teachers, yet stringent academic schedules the school does well in rankings. It would be unfair to say their sports don’t aide with the process.
Anonymous asked: What type of shoes to wear with khakis? Are sneakers acceptable?
Well tonight when I ran into Tucker Carlson and his wife, he was wearing New Balance 574s. I think if you’re going to wear sneakers and khakis Tucker is right. Other sneaker options exist. They can be seen at St. Albans. This school had a strict dress code sans footwear. Any shoe is allowed for the most part. You will see Nike Air Max ‘s, beat up canvas tops, and that’s honestly about it.
As far as shoes go boat shoes take the number one spot. A no hassle prep staple the boat shoe is actually one of the worst things to wear on a boat anyone who says I only wear my boat shoes on my boat is a hoe. With shit traction and slow dying they really out to be rebranded as “dorm shoes”. I think driving shoes, loafers, and other easy slip ons like the L.L.Bean moc cone in a close second. This includes Cole Hanh, Weejuns, and anything with a house bit. NO TASSELS. NO HASSLE. finishing out number three on the list are suede lace ups. From Wallabees to bucks, to desert boots. This broad category finish out all other options of footwear for preps in general.

Anonymous asked: $20 extra for pockets that only cost them $1 extra to make?
It’s made in America and it’s still original batch so you need to take into account all the fabric, snaps, thread, human work hours for the sourcing, designing, and production. So each pocket is at best 13 bucks a pop.
a-thrifty-trad asked: What are your thoughts on BB&N?
I’ve been by Buckingham Browne & Nichols ass loads of times when in and around Boston, yet I’ve never like been my friends who have say it’s good fun. It sounds like it’s way more liberal than I’m akin to, but honestly I can’t tell you much more. I know that the dress is pretty classic prep with a hell of a lot of New England/Boston colors. For some reason everyone in Massachusetts has a teal fetish and a boner for jcrew. Anyway…I digress
